The TJBL, which ran from the early 1980s to 2021, was focused on practical business law writing. You can search the archives for documents dated from 2011 - 2021.

In 2025, the Business Law Section began collaborating with the Texas Business Law Society, a student organization at the University of Texas at Austin School of Law, to establish the Texas Business Law Review. The first set of articles and TX Business Court case notes will be available in the Spring of 2026.

A collection of recent, practical writing on business law topics from around the U.S.

Section members form the planning committees and recruit speakers and materials for between two and four continuing legal education programs annually, working with the professionals at Texas Bar CLE and UT Law CLE. We also create series of CLE webinars on our own. Here, you will find presentation slides and papers from programs we do with outside CLE sponsors as well as our own webinars and related presentation materials for which you can get MCLE credit.

Every biennial, the Business Law Section monitors legislation proposed by the Texas Legislature and provides a dashboard where you can monitor progress through the legislative process. Here, you will find weekly reports concerning proposed bills that affect business law in Texas. This page also contains links to other sites such as Texas Legislature Online with materials from previous sessions of the Texas Legislature .
